All of the actors were beyond excellent and there appeared to be a sense of ‘pride and responsibility’ to portray their respective ‘characters’ with the appropriate gravity, genuineness, and respect that was deserved. Jessi Blue Gormezano portrayed the suave, NY city sister of two brothers in the corps and Suzanne a now divorced wife of a Marine.
This was a subtly emotional work that wasn’t intended to beat you over the head with a message…but to allow you to experience the life and thoughts of the vets upon their return to the states.

Jessi Blue Gormezano: Press
ReEntry
Using minimal theatrics and the testimony of real soldiers, “ReEntry” creates a stage document about an aspect of military life that few of us back home ever fully understand: the trials of reabsorption into the civilian world. The actors capably accomplish their mission.
Under Sanchez's sensitive direction, the actors ably embody the contradictory feelings of people thrown into an environment they can't control, thrilled to be alive but guilty that their friends did not survive, and discovering in many cases that the military itself has become their home.
ReEntry neither romanticizes patriotism nor gets bogged down in a particular viewpoint. The mourning that results when injury or circumstance keeps a solider from battle--and the repercussions that occur--can be equally horrifying and fascinating to behold.
The Secretaries
Gormezano perfectly embodies the Madonna-whore complex: she has Patty walk a fine line of immersing herself in some of her cohorts’ behavior, including submitting her tampons to Susan for review...while carrying on an interoffice romance with lumberjack Buzz.
The acting in The Secretaries is outstanding, with each actor milking out as much humor as possible from the role, and leaving each character grounded in reality, even as the situations get wilder and wilder.
Home of the Great Pecan
"Stephen Bittrich's Home of the Great Pecan is the most delightful new comedy I've seen in a long while."
"At the center of this madcap story is Tammie Lynn Schneider...in Act Two, as the plot really started coalescing in a most satisfying way, I appreciated the less showy, utterly grounded, yet totally off-the-wall antics of Jessi Blue Gormezano's Tammie."
EQUUS
Best supporting actress, play -- Jessi Blue Gormezano for "Equus."

OUR BAR

Inspired by that dynamic, she created "OUR BAR," an interactive theatrical event that explores the relationship between barkeeps and their customers."
This is Our Youth
